Opportunity for Dual Credit at Mississippi State University
About ENGAGE Content Creator
Engage Content Creator consists of two, asynchronous and online courses that teach students to design, build, and deploy their own VR experiences. Each course is offered in an eight-week mini-term, enabling students to complete both courses within a single semester.
These courses give students a comprehensive background of the ENGAGE Spatial Computing Platform as well as advanced VR animation skills using ENGAGE’s content editor. Optional Metaverse meetups are scheduled to offer live coaching and supplemental instruction
Students who complete these self-paced courses can earn 6 credit hours at Mississippi State University in addition to earning high school credit.

The Growing Field of Computer Sciences
The Bureau of Labor Statistics says that jobs in computers and math are expected to grow 22% between 2020 and 2030, much faster than most other jobs.
The VR market is expected to grow by more than 40% each year for the next six years.
The spatial computing market is expected to grow from $17.8 billion in 2022 to $187.5 billion by 2028. This is a fast growth rate of over 60% per year.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that the middle salary for computer and math jobs was $100,910 in 2021.
Dual Credit Opportunity
Students who register for the ENGAGE Content Creator courses can choose to take the course for dual credit through Mississippi State University for the courses PCS 4103 and PCS 4113.
If you choose to take this course for dual credit, this course will be shown on your official college transcript as well as your official high school transcript.
